Dublin Field of Honor – In Remembrance of Those Who Died on 9/11/01
In Dublin, Ohio, the City of Dublin, the Dublin AM Rotary, the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, the Dublin Convention & Visitors Bureau and many other organizations came together to sponsor and put up 3,000 full-size flags to honor those who died in the September 11 attack on the U.S. in 2001.
Here are a few photos taken yesterday before the official opening ceremony began at the Dublin Field of Honor. The first photo was taken from the top of the bleachers at Dublin Coffman High School of the whole field of 3000 flags.
A bagpiper is playing every hour at the Field of Honor.

Today there will be bell ringing to mark each of the plane crashes; Honoring the victims – presented by the youth of Dublin. Wall of remembrance – come share a memory, pay respects. (available the entire weekend).

The field is open and free to the public from Saturday, September 10, 7 p.m. to Monday, September 12, 6 p.m. The field will be lit at night and cared for 24/7 by field keeper volunteers. Police and Fire Chaplains will be on hand to provide support the entire weekend.
Where were you on September 11, 2001?
