Anyone for a Squid-sicle?

Thailand Squid Popsicle

When I was in Thailand a few years ago, I saw so many different foods that really surprised me, made me laugh, creeped me out or made me wonder.  I was looking through my photos and trying to find something to blog about, and I saw this and thought - wow, that's it.  Maybe I will do a series on food pictures from Thailand.

So
I'm wondering now – have you ever had a squid (calamari) on a stick?  Would you try one?  How adventurous are you when it comes to food?

PS - I should clarify that these "squid on a stick" were actually warm/hot -- I just couldn't think of another name for them so squid-sicle seemed appropriate.

Hi Roberta, I am quite sure I would not be game for these frozen delights. They look interesting but they would be little more than an interesting photo. Great by the way !

Roberta, they look like they would be delicious hot!  Can't imagine eating frozen squid.  Calamari is just about my favorite food group.

Yeah....... I'm just weird enough to eat one of those things!

I like to think I'm adventurous, but I'm not sure I could bring myself to eat this. Or bugs. Couldn't eat bugs. Interesting blog series idea... I'll be watching for more.

Thanks, William, for the compliment on the photo.  I went back into my blog and clarified that these are actually not frozen -- they were warm, but I couldnt think of any other name for them other than popsicle -- I guess squid on a stick would have a better name?

Patricia -- Glad you think they would be good hot because that's what they were.  Oh my goodness, I've really confused everyone with the name.  Words have meaning, and I messed up the words.

Gretchen - I couldn't eat bugs either!  I don't know if I could eat one of these either, although I do love Calamari!

Jeanne and Ralph -which one of you is willing to eat one of these?  I didn't - I just took a picture of them.  I'm looking forward to sharing more Thailand food photos.

Thanks for dropping by!

I don't know, Roberta!  I've had calamari but never a squidcycle.  Doesn't sound too tasty.  Maybe squid pop.  LOL   Thanks for sharing!
