Hilliard, Ohio started out as a 10-acre plot in 1852 and was originally called Hilliard’s Station because of it’s place along the railroad route between the Piqua and Indiana Railroad station. Since then, the first railroad station has been decommissioned, but has been restored and is a local attraction as part of Hilliard’s Historical Weaver Park.
