Scottish Highland Bull in Vermont

I just got back from 5 days in Vermont ~ my first visit to this lovely state ~ and was I ever impressed!  I saw pictures of Vermont, I've heard that it was beautiful, but seeing it in person was incredible.  We found these bulls on a farm near Woodstock, VT, and the owner happened upon us and offered to introduce us to the two bulls and let us feed them.   And since I was there to take photos of the fall colors, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to photograph these guys -- I took over 300 photos!  And feeding them was fun too!

Red headed beauties.  They are certainly intimidating with those horns.

Certainly a shaggy fellow, but I really expected a kilt!

Thank you Chris Ann and Than and William.  They were amazing animals - they knew their names when the owner called them over, and they were so much fun to photograph.

Hi Roberta,

This bull looks like a big fuzzy baby. Thanks for sharing such a cutie.
